Frequently asked questions.
What is your mission when it comes to supporting veteran nonprofits?
Our mission goes beyond creating historical relic dial watches. Every Premier Relic timepiece is designed to preserve history while directly giving back to those who served. A portion of every watch purchase is donated to veteran nonprofit organizations, and we believe it is important for our customers to have a voice in that mission! That is why we allow each customer to select the nonprofit partnership that aligns most closely with their own passions and beliefs. Some may wish to preserve the stories of World War II veterans, while others feel called to support today’s service members or organizations that care for veterans and their families through homes and PTSD service dogs. By giving you the choice, your watch not only carries a fragment of history but also reflects your personal commitment to honoring those who sacrificed. This ensures that every purchase has a lasting impact…preserving history on your wrist while supporting the causes you care about most now.
What inspired you to create a World War II D-Day Relic watch dial?
With the 80th anniversary of D-Day, and after heartfelt requests from 101st and 82nd Airborne veterans and their families, we felt a responsibility to create a timepiece that would serve as both a tribute and a reminder. June 6, 1944, stands as one of the most defining moments in modern history, when the 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions parachuted into occupied France under fire to begin the liberation of Europe. When we recovered an authentic U.S. Airborne camouflage parachute from “Drop Zone C” in Normandy, we knew its story deserved to live on in a form that could be carried and remembered every day. By preserving fragments of this parachute within each dial, the watch becomes more than a precision U.S. and Swiss inspired timepiece. It is a wearable memorial to the courage of the Greatest Generation and a daily reminder of the men who forever changed the course of history.
How do you source the RElics used to make the watch dials?
At Premier Relic, sourcing begins with an unwavering commitment to authenticity. We work hand in hand with museums around the world and veteran families to locate genuine historical relics with powerful stories to tell. We have have collaborated with prestigious institutions across the United States and Europe, ensuring that every artifact we acquire meets the highest standards of provenance and preservation. Each piece is carefully researched, meticulously documented, and verified with a Certificate of Authenticity. Beyond museums and professional collections, we also work directly with the families of veterans, who entrust us with items that carry deep personal and historical significance. These partnerships allow us to preserve not only the artifacts themselves but also the stories of the men and women who used them. This dedication ensures that every Premier Relic timepiece is more than just a watch. It is a living fragment of history, sourced with integrity, preserved with care, and transformed into an heirloom that honors both the past and the people who shaped it.
Is Premier Relic Watches based in the United States?
Yes. Premier Relic is proudly based in the United States, with every timepiece designed and assembled here in the U.S.A. We believe it is important to support American companies, craftsmen, and designers as much as possible. By keeping our production rooted as much as possible in the U.S., we not only uphold high standards of quality and authenticity but also contribute to sustaining local industries and jobs. Just as our watches preserve fragments of American history, our commitment to American craftsmanship ensures that each timepiece is a product of both heritage and pride. Supporting Premier Relic means supporting a company dedicated to honoring the past while investing in the future of American design and innovation within each watch.
HOW DOES PREMIER RELIC ENSURE THE ETHICAL HANDLING OF HISTORICAL MATERIALS?
We take great responsibility in the way we preserve and transform historical relics of the past into beautiful watch dials. Every artifact used in our watches is obtained through verified museum archives, direct from veteran estates, or long-documented private high-end private collections. We do not disturb battlefields or excavation sites. Instead, we focus on relics that have already been recovered and preserved under proper stewardship. Our goal is never to exploit history but to give it renewed purpose. Each piece is accompanied by transparent provenance documentation and handled in accordance with museum preservation ethics. By turning these materials into timepieces, we give them life beyond storage and a way for history to live on the wrist and be a the ultimate conversation starter!
HOW DOES PREMIER RELIC watches GIVE BACK BEYOND DONATIONS?
Our commitment to veterans and education extends far beyond financial donations. We actively support museum exhibits, historical preservation projects, and classroom programs that bring history to life. Our founder works directly with schools and educators to create interactive experiences where students can handle real artifacts, learn about veterans’ stories, and understand history in a tangible way. We also collaborate with organizations that record oral histories and preserve veteran testimonies for future generations. Every watch sold helps us expand these efforts. We see every Premier Relic owner as part of that mission, helping keep history alive in classrooms, museums, and communities across the nation.
