  • Yes it can! Because each WWII ring was handmade or originally worn by a soldier, the sizes naturally vary. Many can be resized by a skilled modern jeweler to better fit your finger, though resizing should always be done with care since these are authentic historical rings.

    It’s generally much easier to size a ring down than it is to size it up. For that reason, if you plan to resize, it’s best to choose a ring that is larger than your finger size rather than smaller.

    We always recommend working with an experienced jeweler who has knowledge of vintage or antique pieces. And of course, if you’d prefer not to resize, many collectors choose to wear them on a different finger or keep them as preserved display pieces.

  • Each WWII ring is an original artifact, so every piece is truly one of a kind. Once a ring is sold, it’s gone, and there is no way to know if another like it will ever appear again. While all of these wearable WWII rings are rare, it is generally easier to find broader examples such as U.S. Navy, Marines, Army, or Army Air Forces rings. Rings tied to a specific ship or a particular division, however, are far more difficult to surface and are considered incredibly rare.
